Costume Party!!!

My friend S (of the Happy Hour Crew -- see sidebar) and her boyfriend are throwing their 5th annual Halloween Costume Party tonight! Yay!!! Anyone can go, but everyone HAS to wear a costume. I LOVE wearing costumes, especially wigs. I can't wait to see S (she will be a Native American Princess) and her man (a cowboy). E and B are coming, too -- they are going to be Catholic school students. The rest of the Happy Hour Crew is going, but I have no idea what they are going to be. I can't wait to see what everyone thought up.

I am bringing the following people with me: CN, MJ, VW, The Runner, one of the members of the Rat Pack (who is randomly in town from NY!) and his roommate (who came down from NY for the ride). I don't know what any one is going to be, except for CN:

(and in case you are thinking it's just a cop costume, he would want me to tell you that he's going to be a character from Super Troopers, complete with a real mustache!)

...and The Runner:
Which will be hilarious! I can't wait to get my picture taken with the Burger King!

After much indecision, I have finally decided on a costume and have gathered everything I need. I bet you can guess what I'm going to be!

E even made me this to go with my costume!! Isn't that cool??? I'll be carrying it around at the party.

I will probably take a lot of pics this weekend. If any of them are anonymous enough, I will share with you. Tell me what you're going to be for Halloween!!! I love how creative people get for this holiday. Share with me, peeps!

Oh how fun! I adore costumes, and that is going to be so funny! I am not doing anything this year for halloween . . .no parties . . .nothing, and even on the night of halloween I have to work at starbucks, so I will have to wear the "uniform". Bleh. But, over the last few years I have been a victorian vampire, a hired assassin (business cards for "disposal services", all black, gloves, an ear piece, etc.), a serving wench, and an angel. I miss dressing up . . .

I want to see pictures!! Come on you already went private and you can always delete them later like I do for fear of psychos.. That's one thing I like about myspace (yes, I finally got one), you can only allow certain people to see your pictures.

I meant that you can allow only certain people to see your pictures. Geez I need a nap.

You MUST show pictures - especially you and your Paris Hilton get-up.

My g/f and I dressed in all black, make up etc... Grabbed ipods and went as an Ipod Commercial. Randomly started dancing to our own music. It was quite the hit :p

My friend's band played a show Saturday night and I, along with a couple of other friends, dressed up as him. He's got a fairly distinct look -- always topped by striped tube socks. We were a hit.

oooooh, I love that little pink phone- too funny :) Can't wait to read all about it. I was a dead french maid. Scary + sexy = good.

Oh my God. That moustache just looks so... ewwww! lol! ;)
I wanted to be either a hippie pirate or Zorro. But since it's a party where you're supposed to go in a 'scary' costume, I think I'll just fuck it.

I'm not dressing up as anything. Once you have children, they kinda take over Halloween. But my daughter is going to be a peacock. :)

Hope you guys had fun. I love that CN is dressing as Farva. Super Troopers is one of the best movies ever!

Have not dressed up in years for Halloween. Lost the spirit somewhere in my old age. Get off my damn lawn!
In the past I have gone as a wizard, The Real Dread Pirate Roberts, Phantom of the Opera, Charles Manson, and that is all I can remember. It has crossed my mind to go as Karl Marx this year but I will be working and do not feel like coming to the library dressed up.
Hope everyone had a good time. Or has the party yet to take place...

coco -- aw, sorry you have to work. that sucks! those are all fun halloween costumes! i actually saw a "sexy" barista costume, complete with green apron, and thought of you. who knew that could be a sexy costume?!

burg-- ok, girl, i'm not going to go THAT route yet! and none of the pics came out anonymous enough. i'll email you and see if you want to add each other on myspace. :)

jp-- why, yes, how did you know? ;)

rwa-- well, i would. but i am trying to be anonymous....kinda. so no pics today. i really didn't look like paris, anyway. just me in a wig.

kraig-- OMG!! that is a super fun idea!!!! i love that! very creative.

MJ-- i promise i'll develop my disposable camera before 2008!

jess-- OMG i love that idea!! too funny. wow, my readers are far more creative than i.......

OG-- a dead french maid? LOL that's funny!

len-- ugh, i don't even want to talk about the mustache. i'm just glad it's gone. i love the zorro idea, btw.

jen-- oh, farva is that guy's name? i know, i need to watch super troopers. :P the peacock costume is adorable! thanks for sharing!

jonathan -- dread pirate roberts and charles manson are both AWESOME costumes. good call!!! i understand about not wanting to wear a costume to work. we are going to be pirates this year -- everyone will wear patches or red bandannas, in addition to our regular clothes. i'm hoping someone brings us candy....
