Look at it as you are just getting to know someone, who may or may not be a romantic interest for you. If he's not the right person, well, you get some practice in dating, which is not a bad thing. You can either wait a month for him to get around to setting up a time, or you can tell him what nights you're free and he will take that as a more positive yes than "Uh. Ok. Yeah."Stuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806212590717745000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18879154.post-64984367415866953272007-07-24T01:05:00.000-04:002007-07-24T01:05:00.000-04:00No more thinking! :)No more thinking! :)Scottyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09468559689572078636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18879154.post-25160430704417948212007-07-23T21:25:00.000-04:002007-07-23T21:25:00.000-04:00ok, that was hilarious! She has been showing up in my own head alot today since I dressed and looked pretty much like a homeless person all this weekend.

No need to be nervous about the date, you will be fine. Hopefully he will bring it up again and then you can use Phantom Hater's line. That was good stuff.

He was totally asking you out on a date, but I think his "Shy" came out a little bit by not setting a date and time. He wanted to know if you were interested.Meghan (The Declaration of MY Independence)https://www.blogger.com/profile/08437426078664351801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18879154.post-39643864232856413852007-07-23T14:23:00.000-04:002007-07-23T14:23:00.000-04:00If one starts telling you to kill the neighbor's d...If one starts telling you to kill the neighbor's dog, please get help A.S.A.P.

LOL! If one starts telling you to kill the neighbor's dog, please get help A.S.A.P.

Being relaxed is always good. It makes the other person relaxed as well. It does sound as if he was asking you on a date. There are ways to get one nailed down if someone doesn't come right out and ask you. For example, respond with "Well, I'm free on such and such days...so..." to get him to cough up a date and time. Also, I know this probably goes against Rule #613 or whatever, but at this point you could coyly ask "So how about that dinner date?" or something at this point if you talk to him again. Just my 17 cents.

I couldn't possibly eat one cookie per day. They would just taunt me from the fridge. That guy has much more self-control than me.

Also, I think sweaty, dirty girls are hot, so maybe that helped you out a little. :)Phantom Haterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16201889982177934778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18879154.post-55733535069258654442007-07-23T13:29:00.000-04:002007-07-23T13:29:00.000-04:00Ah... dating! Is there anything more fun?

True story: A friend noticed the boy down the street and after a period of chatting and flirting, she threw a Halloween party, just so she could invite him. He came over, they started dating and have since bought a house together! Go with Happily Optimistic :)PomJobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18101101046153172041noreply@blogger.com
